Terms of Service
Terms
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms govern your use of hazarddashboards.com, the Live Map at hazardsmap.com and council dashboards we operate.
What this service is
We aggregate emergency and hazard information published by official Australian agencies — fire services, emergency services, transport, utilities and others — and display it in one place. Data is refreshed regularly but may be delayed by up to 10 minutes, may be incomplete, and is subject to the availability of the source feeds.
It does not replace official warnings
In a life-threatening emergency, call Triple Zero (000). Always follow the advice and warnings issued by your state or territory emergency services and official sources. Our service is an aggregator and must not be your only source of emergency information.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the service — including decisions made in an emergency. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Data attribution and third-party links
Incident data remains the property of the publishing agencies and is used under their respective licences and terms. Links to agency websites and other third-party services are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Intellectual property
The site design, software and the Disaster Dashboards name are our intellectual property. You may link to and view the service; you may not copy, scrape at volume, or republish the aggregated data without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
